The platform for nonfungible tokens was introduced in collaboration with Near Protocol.
The Indian division of koda Auto, koda India, and Near Protocol have joined forces to introduce “kodaverse India,” a Web3 and NFT experience. Low gas costs, interoperable NFTs, and environmentally friendly, scalable NFT solutions are all goals of the platform.
There has been no announcement of a precise release date or offer price for the first Koda NFT collection, but it is expected to happen shortly. By contributing money to their wallets, users will have the option to mint the NFT. The firm wrote:
“Škodaverse India will also unlock bespoke utilities and experiences for NFT holders which will be revealed along with the first drop details. All NFTs will be minted on carbon-neutral blockchains, aligning with our sustainable vision.”
The advantages for NFT holders are numerous, according to the developers. These advantages include ownership of distinctive digital assets that symbolize koda’s artwork or collectibles, possible value growth and future resale, and entry to special privileges, prizes, or experiences that are connected to NFT ownership. Trading will be possible using fiat money as well as cryptocurrency.

The company’s debut into the Web3 market with the release of the koda NFT platform signals its investigation of digital art and collectibles in the rapidly changing digital ecosystem.
Koda was founded in 1925 and prior to becoming state-owned in 1948, it was one of the leading industrial producers in Interwar Europe. Koda progressively merged with German automaker Volkswagen after the Communist rule in the Czechoslovak Republic fell in 1990.
With 731,000 vehicles delivered in 2022, the Koda auto brand will continue to enjoy popularity in Central and Eastern Europe. The company’s partnership with Near Protocol and entry into NFTs show that it is open to embracing cutting-edge technologies and interacting with its audience in fresh ways.
